The Miss Puerto Rico of Aurora is a Pageant competition that emphasizes academic and professional skills over beauty. Each year candidates sign up to take part in our program.
The Pageant competition begins months before the actual Pageant. Candidates learn and practice professional speaking techniques, as well as traditional Puerto Rican dances. They are also required to submit a report that they will later have to present. Finally, on Pageant day all of their skills get put to the test. If chosen, they will earn an academic scholarship to pursue their life long dreams.
Candidates are expected to be of high moral standing as they are all representatives of our community.
