Welcome,
Thank you for visiting the Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council's website. I am excited to be a part of an amazing new board. We have set a few major goals to continue to fulfill our Mission Statement. To do this we need to:
1. Raise More Money
2. Expand Communication with the Community
3. Involve the Community
To reach these goals we need the support of the community. We need to take a look back to the times when the Puerto Rican families of Aurora were very active within the Puerto Rican community. When families raised money for floats, encouraged their daughters to run for Queen, and hosted picnics to raise money for a family need.

If we can reach our goals together, we can have lower-reasonable ticket costs for formal events like the Pageant and even bring a big name musician to entertain us at the festival.
We are going to work hard to give the Puerto Rican community opportunities for advancement, and with all of us working together we will all learn and grow to be better.
